If there a lot of urine stains use a blacklight to locate, if only an obvious few don't bother.
Mix up PeeRad at 8oz per gallon of hot water, pour onto pet stain, bear in mind you want to apply as muxh PeeRad as there was piss deposited there, so it will go AT LEAST as far into the pad as the urine did. (Note, once applied the stains will start to stink to high heaven, which is what you expect and want). Run over area with wet pad to make sure the PR gets down into the carpet and well as possible. Let sit for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the stink will go away and if you applied as much PR as urine, will never return unless the pet is returned to apply more urine.
Next run a couple of dry pads over area to remove excess PR from carpet so you wont have white residue coming up after it dries. Now prespray with Whamm or PCP and clean as normal. You can use a blower to help dry the area or as I do, I inform the customer the area will be damp a couple of days, but that it won't be damp and longer than it was when the pet pissed there.
The PR kills the odors and destroys the urine salts, having a dry powder left under the carpet backing is in no way a negative. Every area you soak the urine will be killed permanently.
Applying large amounts of water to urine stains just exasserbates the problem, often it enlarges the area of contamination. This will not, end results is success with less work nor a NEED for another method to do the job.

All this was before the Trinity whose results we are still studying, however so far the results have been better and considerably faster. On Hard surface cleaning of tile and grout, stone, concrete etc, this is NO COMPARISON to using our earlier model machines...
